Knicks are enticing best-bet pick on Monday’s NBA slate

Only five games fill out Monday’s NBA card, but Joe Dellera of the Action Network has a pair of best bets.
The first contest Dellera is looking at is Knicks vs. Jazz in Salt Lake City. In that game, Dellera is targeting the visitors +7.5 points against a Utah team without Rudy Gobert.
“Based on point differential, the Knicks were a little bit unlucky [recently],” Dellera says. “They have about 1.3 fewer wins than projected [over their last 10 games].”
Considering the Jazz are 9-18 against the spread as home favorites this season, Dellera believes the Knicks keep it close in Utah.
Dellera’s other play comes with the Wizards facing the Heat in the nation’s capital. Even though Miami will be missing key pieces, Dellera has been unimpressed with the Wizards recently.
In its last five games, Washington has the worst offense and fifth-worst defense in the league. With that in mind, Dellera believes the current spread is too low.
“This Wizards team — I don’t expect them to have any answer for Bam Adebayo in the interior,” Dellera explains. “This spread is just way too short at four-and-a-half points.”
With that in mind, Dellera would lay up to five points with visiting Miami.
