In Guinea, tensions rise between chimpanzees and locals

Issued on:

In Guinea, cohabitation between chimpanzees and people is changing into more and more tense in some areas of the nation. As fields and roads encroach on their territory, the animals are getting extra aggressive. Within the village of Longory, a four-year-old woman was attacked by a chimpanzee. Locals are actually cautious of the hungry apes. Our France 2 colleagues report, with FRANCE 24's Camille Nedelec.
