The Kenai River Brown Bears will host the Minnesota Magicians on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex in North American Hockey League play.
Kenai River is 1-3-0-0 this season against the Magicians, getting a 4-3 overtime victory in Minnesota on Feb. 12.
The Bears are last in the Midwest Division at 11-31-3-2 and are out of the playoff race, but have a chance to influence the playoff race in the Midwest Division.
The Magicians are 20-17-4-3 and are clinging to the fourth and final playoff spot out of the division. The Magicians have 47 points, while the Minnesota Wilderness and Janesville (Wisconsin) Jets are right behind with 45 points.
